DVD/Blu-Ray Set

Hi. I just got mine in the mail (got the blu-ray) and the quality is very nice. There's a whole disk devoted to skating and curling, and each discipline of the skating gets about 35 to 40 minutes. They made sure to show all the SP's of all the Canadian competitors, and then the 3 top FS's in the order of competition. So, it's like watching it again with the suspense. They showed highlights from the top 10, I believe. I can't believe they showed only highlights for the gala...didn't think that was possible, groan. The subtitles are an absolute mess. They were on the disk for part of it, but they said English and French was shown instead. Also, they don't have chapters, so for example, they show the whole gold medal hockey games. So, perhaps you don't want to watch the whole thing, you have to ff to the place you want to see. They did a nice job overall though and I'm glad I bought it. That skating one will get a lot of playing time! The features for Virtue and Moir and their interview are really great. They also showed all 3 dance FD. It's so cute how Scott sees that Tessa is tearing up and puts his arm around her...aw!!! They also presented the Joannie Rochette story well.

Thanks for posting this information about the Olympics DVD. I was debating on whether or not to order one.
