Happy Holidays!

Postby Jamie Sale on Thu Dec 31, 2009 11:55 am

Hi everyone!
I am so sorry I didn't get around to wishing you all Happy Holidays! Happy Holidays! It has been quite hectic for us since we got home from our xmas tour with holidays festival but we have sure enjoyed the break over the last week.
We are home in Edmonton now until Feb and then it's off to Vancouver for the Olympics. yay! We are getting geared up now and excited about our involvement with CTV in Vancouver! It's going to be so fantastic and the athletes will love it!
In the meantime we are doing some torch stuff in Alberta, I'm in Red Deer for welcoming it and we are both in Calgary a few days later doing the same. It's so hard to believe that it's been 8 years since Salt Lake for us. It sure doesn't feel like it was that long ago.
We are also doing the Conn Smythe sports celebrities dinner in support of Easter Seals Kids for the 1st time in Toronto on Jan 27th which we are very proud and happy to be invited to. Jesse and I are doing an add for Pampers as well (not potty trained yet) this coming month and then I have a Berts Bees appearance beginning of Feb in Vancouver for a day. Lots going on. :D
We are hopefully doing rehearsals at the end of March for Stars on Ice and then heading to Japan and Canada for tour in April/May.
We haven't started choreographing yet as we just finalizing our #'s for this year. Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo has been extremely generous and went into studio to record his song "Try" acoustically for us with his guitar and a violinist. It is FABULOUS and we are over the moon to have this opportunity to skate to one of his hits! Thanks Jim, we are forever indebted to you and your amazing talent!
Well, it's new years eve and I know you probably going out or having a house party of some kind but if you can you have to watch Canadian Air Farce on CBC tonight @ 8pm (or tomorrow @ 5:30pm), Craig Simpson (my Battle of the Blades partner) and I did a sketch with the cast. It was so much fun and we think it'll turn out great! Enjoy!
So have loads of fun tonight but please don't drink and drive, be safe and stay warm! Here's to another great year for everyone! :bounce:
Take care and we'll see you next year!
Jamie :w: :canada:
